Q - Can SmartScreen run at iOS 4.0?

- Yes, since version 1.30. You should install package "SmartScreen for iOS". And widgets only from category "SmartScreen iOS Widgets".

 

Q - Can I use SmartScreen at iPad?

- Yes, of course. Download "SmartScreen for iPad" and widgets from category "SmartScreen iPad Widgets".

 

Q - What amount of memory SmartScreen takes from RAM?

- From the version 1.25 SmartScreen load all widgets in resident mode (they are always in RAM).

If you enable all our widgets, they take about 8 mb or RAM. So we recommend you to enable 4-5 necessary widgets for saving your memory.

 

Q - Why in Lite version of SmartScreen iPod Control does not work?

A - iPod Control is feature, that available only in Full version. Standard iPod Control does not work with SmartScreen, it's conflict SmartScreen and standard LockSreen.

 

Q - How I can unlock device when turned on Auto Hide Lockbar?

- To show LockBar, swipe your finger up from bottom to top.

 

Q - How I can re-arrange widgets?

- To re-arrange widget just tap and hold it, then move it anywhere on LockScreen.

Q - How to purchase a license?

A - You can buy the SmartScreen from our web-site via eSellerate. Then download and install SmartScreen from our Cydia repository http://apt.media-phone.ch/ and activate SmartScreen on first launch. Remember: one license for one device, but you can transfer license with request to our Support Center.

 

Q - I received "Failed to receive data" error while activating my SmartScreen license.

A - Make sure you're connected to Cellular Data network or WiFi to activate the SmartScreen. If it fails, please try again.

Also, you may received error when this license has already been used or you try to activate license without transfer it with Support Center.

 

Q - If I restore my device, will I need to purchase a new license again?

A - No. Your license is tied to your device, regardless of restoreor updates.

 

Q - Can I transfer my SmartScreen license to my new iPhone?

A - Yes. You'll need to provide your SmartScreen serial number and order number for transfer your license.

We can transfer only license that you have acquired via eSellerate or PayPal. You can transfer license only one time in year.

 

Q - Can I transfer my SmartScreen license from my iPhone to my iPad?

A - No, it's impossible. You should to buy separate license for iPad.

 

Installation & Uninstallation

 

Q - Why widgets doesn't work properly on my iPad?

A - Because you install widgets for version of SmartScreen for iPhone. You need to install widgets from category "SmartScreen iPad Widgets".

 

Q - How do remove SmartScreen from my device?

A - Open Cydia and tap "Manage" at the bottom, then tap "Packages". Find the "SmartScreen" or "SmartScreen Lite" and hit modify in the upper right corner. Tap "Remove" and your done. Also, you need to remove "MediaPhone Installer" and widgets.
